Data analysis is at the core of every HealthQuest business decision. Every project success, every customer satisfaction, and every opportunity for new business relies heavily on our ability to analyze and understand data. The Data Warehouse and Analytic Center provides HealthQuest customers with insightful and timely data reports that help clients accomplish goals.

Reports are divided into three categories: operations reports, client deliverables, and data mining reports.

Operations reports help guide our project teams and allow us to compare ourselves with similar organizations across the nation. Several of our client deliverables provide measurement of program activity, customer satisfaction, and cost savings, while others help senior management track their progress and steer their operations towards success. Additionally, our data mining reports help identify areas in need of improvement, shape policies, and generate added services.
HealthQuest manipulates data sets to extract insights and derive strategies. Thus, our internal reports are often shared with clients to guide their activities.

Data Warehouse Capabilities

From the beginning, HealthQuest recognized that accurate data are imperative for success. One of our first activities as a young corporation was the development of a data warehouse. Our warehouse serves a broad range of customers from commercial clients and third party administrators, to several state governments and the federal government.

Data are stored in relational Oracle databases, and are manipulated and analyzed through various programming tools including SAS, SPSS, Microsoft Access and Microsoft Excel. This flexible set of tools maximizes reporting capabilities and allows for drill down to the desired level of detail.

Data warehousing is more than just a way of storing data; it is a way of maximizing its potential. With data warehousing, you gradually get a better understanding of what data are available, what they mean to the organization, and how they can be structured to make sense across the whole organization. Collecting all of the data into a single place and making it available allows for broader access to important information. HealthQuest analytic experts apply a set of analyses and reporting tools that include data quality profiling and cleansing, data analysis and reporting, data modeling, and use of a metadata repository in order to provide valid, useful information to our customers.
