History
KePRO acquired HealthQuest in 1997 in order to provide
customer-driven health management solutions to the commercial marketplace.
Since then, HealthQuest has provided services to some of the nation's largest
insurers out of KePRO's Harrisburg, Pennsylvania headquarters. We are licensed
as an independent review agency organization in all 28 states requiring such licensing.
In July 2006, HealthQuest opened a second office in Louisville, Kentucky to
service our CenBen USA contract
activities. This office will serve as the future site of our HealthQuest
commercial expansion efforts. HealthQuest has applied for URAC case management
accreditation; we hope to be fully accredited in December 2006.
KePRO and its family of companies have been
providing healthcare management solutions to large federal agencies, states
governments, and commercial customers since 1985.We are a federally designated
quality improvement organization (QIO)-like entity and the Quality Improvement
Organization for the state of Ohio. Customers include the Centers for Medicare
and Medicaid Services, the Health Resources and Services Administration, the
state of Florida, and Commonwealth of Virginia.
HealthQuest is modeled after our successful government sector healthcare
management efforts, focusing on technology, clinical expertise, quality
processes, analytic excellence, and customer service. We offer a continuum of
integrated health management solutions to commercial customers such as third
party administrators, self-insured employers, health and benefits brokers, and
health plans and insurance agencies.
