Technology
HealthQuest's programs and services are
supported by a Web-based system. Built on a seamless, efficient, browser-based
platform, our system automates and streamlines clinical decision-making for
pre-service review, concurrent review, quality management, and case management
processes. Additionally, the system acts as the central processor that creates
the clinical data repository used to manage patients across the continuum of
care.
Among its key benefits are:
§
An enhanced ability to share and exchange patient-centric clinical
information among our utilization, case, disease, and quality management
departments.
§
Improved decision-making by presenting our medical team the right
information at the right time through integrated clinical guidelines and
client-specific business rules.
§
Business user orientation. This includes the ability for case managers
to configure their own assessments, forms, and questionnaires without IT
assistance.
§
More flexibility to adapt to a changing external environment without
having to change the underlying technology.
§
Improved workflow through business and clinical rule-driven, automated
routing and automated correspondence.
§
Proven scalability to accommodate growth.
Telecommunication
Telecommunication is often the backbone of
any health management operation. That makes the scalability of our phone system
and the functionality to reliably transfer calls between our offices and
multiple partners, vendors, clients, and subcontractors critical to our
programs.
HealthQuest's telecommunications
infrastructure complies with industry standards of reliability. The enterprise
platform is designed for growth and flexibility; it is comprised of Nortel
CS1000 PBX/ACD and fully redundant Nortel CS1000 PBX/ACD. Nortel CS1000 is a
state-of-the-art Voice over IP platform.
